NVU-Johnson Women’s Tennis pick 2nd in North Atlantic Conference preseason polls

It has been a quick turnaround for the NVU-Johnson Badgers Women's Tennis team.  In the spring of 2021, which saw the season played in the spring semester as opposed to the normal Fall season due to the COVID-19, the Badgers competed in the NAC East Finals against Husson University and then in the NAC/NEAC Women's Tennis Championship verses Penn State-Harrisburg. 

Returning to the Badgers for the 2021 Fall season is 2021 Spring NAC All-Conference Single's team member Mason Lores (Englewood, Colorado) who had breakout season for the Badgers in her first year with the team. 

With the addition of the incoming players and a set of veteran returner, Coach Whitmore is looking forward to working with this young, talented and dedicated group of women as they look to open the season on September 2nd at Western England College at 4pm. 

The Badgers will face conference opponent Thomas (ME) on Saturday September 4th in Waterville, ME for what will be the start of the NAC match play.  On September 8th the Badgers will travel to Castleton University for an in-state match verses the Spartans and then to SUNY Plattsburgh to face the Cardinals on September 12th @ 12pm as they prepare for their next NAC opponent on Sept 17th in the Hornets of NVU-Lyndon at 4pm.

After a stretch which will have the Badgers start their season off with 5 road matches, they will return to the friendly Green Mountains which surround the NVU-Johnson campus on Tues. September 21st for a match verses NVU-Lyndon at 3pm and then host Plymouth State University on Sat September 25th before their final 2 NAC opponents Thomas and Husson on September 25th and 26th respectively.
