A native of Franklin, North Carolina, Sadlon is finishing up her high school career at Rabun Gap Nacoochee School where she has earned both honors and high honors as a student in the classroom. On the volleyball court, Sadlon earned team MVP and was named captain in her senior season. Sadlon plans to pursue a degree in Psychology.

When arrived at NVU-Johnson she plans to pursue a degree in Health and Sport Psychology. Throughout her time at Shaw High School, Shaw was named to the honor roll and senior counsel. As an athlete Shaw was a member of her high school basketball team, flag football team and softball team.

Throughout her time at Winooski High School, Lambert was an honor roll student for all four years of high school and named to the National Honors Society in both her junior and senior year. Throughout her high school experience Lambert played a huge part in her community and was awarded a community service scholarship for serving 1000+ hours in her community. In her senior year, Lambert was named Scholar Athlete of the Year and was chosen to attend an Athletic Leadership Conference by her athletic director at Winooski. When arrived at NVU-Johnson, Lambert will pursue a degree in secondary education with a focus on English.

"I chose NVU-Johnson because I love how it is more of a hands on learning experience. The biology program really caught my eye during my college search and I was intrigued because of the outdoor laboratories. I like how NVU-Johnson is a small college and I cannot wait to get started there," said Hall.

At Richford Junior Senior High School, Messier was a two-sport athlete competing in both soccer and basketball. After her interscholastic career, Messier attended Community College of Vermont before making the decision to transfer to NVU-Johnson and compete at the intercollegiate level.

White is a current student-athlete at Orcas Island High School where she has been a four-year varsity standout both on the basketball court and on the softball field. Off the playing surface, White has participated in Key Club, Environmental Club, the school's newspaper, and a mentor tutoring program. White also spent time as a volunteer for her local newspaper where she wrote the high school sports articles. She has also been part of National Honor Society since the end of her sophomore year.

Moore comes to NVU-Johnson from Oxon Hill Maryland. Moore competed as a student-athlete at Potomac High School before spending the 2019-20 academic year as a student-athlete at Hagerstown Community College. During his time at Hagerstown, Moore competed in 30 games for the Hawks while averaging 7.9 points per game and 5.6 rebounds. Moore poured in a career high 19 points in a 92-68 win over Harford Community College on February, 8. Moore and the Hawks emerged as NJCAA D1 Region XX Champions before ultimately losing in the 2020 East District Championship.

 Gamble comes to NVU-Johnson from Riverdale, Georgia where he was a student-athlete at Lovejoy High School. When arrived at NVU-Johnson Gamble plans to pursue a degree in Allied Health. Head coach Miles Smith believes Gamble will provide depth in the backcourt for the Badgers during this upcoming season. "Our recruitment late in the year was focused on adding depth to the guard position and Tyrell brings that to our program," said Smith. "Tyrell comes from the same area as Floyd Davis who is the returning NAC Rookie of the Year. Tyrell's ability to shoot the ball along with his size will be valuable to us as we continue to progress."

When arrived at NVU-Johnson Wimberly plans to pursue a degree in business. A student-athlete at Frederick Kc Price III Schools, Wimberley earned a 3.70 grade point average in the classroom. On the court Wimberly averaged 13 points, five rebounds and four assists per game. This past season Wimberly was also named the Los Angeles Sentinel Student Athlete of the Week.

Prior to NVU-Johnson...

Castro will arrive at NVU-Johnson after competing for teams who had great success in his high school and club careers respectively.  In high school, Hunter lettered for McKeel Academy of Technology in Lakeland, FL. Castro won back to back FHSAA District 4A-12 Championships.  In his junior year, the McKeel Academy Wildcats had a fantastic campaign with an 11-4-2 record (9-2-1 league).  In the following season, the group finished 7-7-3 in repeating as District 4A-12 champions. During his senior campaign, Hunter contributed in the midfield with 2 goals, 3 assists and 7 points.  On the club circuit, he has played several years with North Lakeland United.  His NL United 01 Boys team has been a perennial contender in the leagues they compete in such as the Greater Central Florida Youth Soccer League (GCFYSL) and the United Soccer Association (USA) around the Tampa area.  In the fall of 2018, Hunter's NL United 01 Boys, won their U19 Boys Division of the GCFYSL and followed up in the 2019 fall season with a second-place finish.  That same team had gotten off to a great start in the USA League in the spring of 2020 with a 5-2-2 record before being cut short due to the Coronavirus.

Chikava attended Hazen High School in Renton, Washington and competed for two years at the Varsity level. A defensive midfielder, who primarily plays in the center, this past season, Chikava recorded 3 goals, 6 assists and 12 points. In 2019, his high school team won the District Championship and advanced to the Washington State 4A Boys Soccer Championships where they fell to Jackson HS. On the club scene, Chikava played in his home continent for Randburg FC located in South Africa. In the states, he has competed for Newport FC out of Bellevue, Washington and has also played in the North Puget Sound League.  Currently he is playing for the Pateadores Academy out of Washington.

Berry was named team captain prior to her Sophomore season and held the role throughout her Junior and Senior seasons. When arrived at NVU-Johnson Berry plans to pursue a degree in Health Science.

On the soccer pitch, Ruiz was named the Player of the Year in her section. While also earning All-Section First Team honors and Honorable Mention twice throughout her career. At the club level Ruiz competed for New York Soccer Surf Club and Clarkstown Soccer Club. Ruiz will pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.

This past season, Wardwell earned MVL First-Team honors and was selected to the VBCA North/South All-Star game. In the classroom Wardwell earned student of the month during her senior year and most improved in DE English and Psychology.

Gabriel rounds out the goalkeeping core for the Badgers. Adancourt was a three-year Varsity letter winner for Jensen Beach High School.  He has captained his high school squad the past two seasons as a Junior and Senior.  The Falcons were 10-9-1 this past season and fell in the Florida 4A District 13 Championship to North Broward Prep.  He was also selected in 2020 as Four-Time Nominee for Athlete of the Week for TC Palm of the USA Today Network for his goalkeeper performances.  He is currently a club player for the Massive Premier Academy in Florida.  He also been a former athlete with other clubs in Florida such as Martin United and FC Florida based out of Martin County.

On the court at Colchester High School, Nguyen was a top performer that brought the ability to shoot from the outside and the energy and effort to rebound well at the guard position. Nguyen led the Lakers in three-point shooting making 39% from behind the line. On the AAU circuit Nguyen competed for arguably the top-level program in the state of Vermont Blueprint Basketball.

Atkinson a native of Hopewell, New Jersey and a 2018 graduate of Hopewell Valley Central High School has built a strong resume as a student-athlete throughout her high school career. During her time at Hopewell Valley Central High School, Atkinson placed 2ndoverall in javelin at the NJSIAA Sectional Track Championship. With her performance, Atkinson qualified for Nationals both her sophomore and junior seasons.

A native of Essex Junction, Vermont and a student-athlete at Colchester High School, Aljaf is a highly skilled midfielder with quick footwork and incredible speed. Aljaf is the third commitment from Queen City FC following recent commitments from Zac St. Amour and Thomy Mwali. This fall for the Colchester Lakers, Hasan scored 8 goals and dished out 4 assists from the midfield in the highly competitive Division 1 Metro League.  Hasan has been a four-year letter winner for the Lakers as he was brought up to the Varsity team during his freshmen season.  During his senior season he was selected to the All-Metro Team in 2019.

ZACHARY ST. AMOUR

Prior to NVU-Johnson...

 A native of Milton, Vermont, Zac is a multi-positional threat with blazing speed as he plays defense for the Milton High School Yellowjackets, but is a prolific scorer for his club team, Queen City FC. For the Yellowjackets in his senior season, Zac scored 3 goals and dishes out 7 assists from the defensive line. This past fall, his Milton team reached the Final Four in the VSCA State Tournament, before falling to Stowe High School, the 7-time repeating State Champion.

While at Milton, Zac lettered on Varsity for three seasons contributing to a 31-16-3 record over that time.  During last club soccer season, as a high school junior, Zac's U-19 Queen City FC boys team competed in the Badgers 2019 Spring Invitational contest that also included games vs NVU-Lyndon, and Paul Smith's College.  He has also competed at the Varsity level for Milton High School in Basketball and Track and Field.

Zac will pursue a degree in Business with a focus in Sport Managment.

A skilled big man, he will provide a huge presence in the midfield. The gritty and hardworking midfielder played his school soccer at Poquoson High School in Poquoson, Virginia. 

Last season in 2019, the Islanders of Poquoson were a regional runner up in Class 2 Region A qualifying for the state tournament where they fell in the State Quarterfinal. On the club scene, Merrick has played for several high-level clubs in the state of Virginia including York Town FC and Old Dominion Soccer Club. During his time with both clubs his 01 teams won their Division 1 League titles for four years straight. Currently, Merrick mans the midfield for Virginia Legacy SC.

Pottala plans to pursue a degree in Business when he arrives at NVU-Johnson. 

Pottala has built a stellar resume off the links at Stratton Mountain School. Stratton Mountain School is an elite winter sports academy in Vermont and Pottala has made his mark competing and qualifying in Nordic Skiing. In 2011, Pottala qualified for the Vermont State Championship. A few years later qualified for the Junior New England Championship and New England Championship. In 2015, Pottala qualified and competed in the French, Swiss and Italian Championship in Nordic Skiing.

Prior to NVU-Johnson...

Gray joins the Badgers from West Seattle High School as he has been an integral part of the Wildcats midfield for three seasons. West Seattle High School opens up their 2020 campaign on March 17 against Lakeside High. When arrived at NVU-Johnson Gray will pursue a degree in Business. 

In his junior season with West Seattle, Diego was an All-Metro Boys 3A Mountain Division Conference Selection as a distributor in the midfield for the Wildcats.  On the club scene, he competes in the NPSL and has played for more than half a decade with the talent rich Southlake Select TUSK United.   Diego's 02 TUSK United team has placed first in the NPSL 2002 Division 1 League in 2017, 2018, and 2019.  In the 2018 and 2019 they won the Washington State Presidents Cup.

When arrived at NVU-Johnson Medina will pursue a degree geared towards Exercise Science. Medina a native of San Jose, California and a member of the Ann Sobrato High School girls' volleyball team finished first overall in blocks and third overall in kills in her league this past season. In her senior season, Medina was a three-time Player of the Match and in the classroom has been named to the Honor Roll six times.

Mwali who is a native of the Democratic Republic of the Congo is the newest addition for the men's soccer program. Mwali came to the United States five years ago and was a student-athlete at Colchester High School in Colchester, Vermont. Mwali was a two-year member of the CHS boys' varsity soccer team who competed in the highly competitive Metro Division in Division I.

Emily Carchia a native of North Haven, Connecticut and a member of the girls' varsity soccer program at Sacred Heart Academy located in Hamden, Connecticut. In 2018 Carchia was awarded the coach's award for outstanding commitment and team play. When arrived at Northern Vermont University-Johnson Carchia plans on studying Business and Sociology/Anthropology.

Throughout her high school career both on the track and volleyball court Durden was a 1st place European champion in the discus, 1st regional Virginia 3A champion in the discus, 3rd overall in the state of Virginia for 3A high school discus, MVP for track and field, academic silver honor roll, torch club, and keystone club. Off the playing surface Durden was also the Vice President of the schools Art Club and a member of the African American History Club.

Prior to NVU-Johnson...

Laughlin comes to Northern Vermont University-Johnson from West Rutland, Vermont and has had a decorated four-year career as a varsity soccer player at West Rutland High School. Laughlin, a four-year starter also compiled a 49-15-4 record throughout his career while reaching the final four in his sophomore and senior season. As a freshman and junior Laughlin made it to the Vermont Division 4 State Championship game and earned runner up honors both years.

In his junior season, his WRHS team earned the #1 seed going 13-1 in the regular season, before being upset in the State Championship.  In his sophomore season, he was selected to the VSCA All-State team as well as being a Marble Valley All-League First-Team Selection.  In his junior and senior seasons, he was once again selected to both the VSCA All-State team and MVL First-Team as a three-time selection (2017, 2018, 2019). Also, in his senior season, Kyle was selected to prestigious Burlington Free Press All-State team as an honorable mention. He also has played for IMX FC.

 A native of Quincy, Washington, Rodriquez has competed on the club circuit for many premier and travel clubs in his region. Omar spent some years with the 2002 PSPL Surf Academy in the Seattle area. In addition, he was part of Wenatachee Valley United linked with Quincy United in his hometown. He has also spent time training with Puget Sound FC and had an invite to the Colorado Rapids U17 Academy tryout camp. A member of the boys' varsity soccer program at Quincy High School where the soccer season is played during the spring. As a sophomore, Rodriquez helped the team qualify for playoffs as the 5 seed in the Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC). Omar's Jackrabbits will have their season opener on March 14 against Manson High School.

A native of Whittier, California and a student-athlete at Whittier High School, Aguilar has built a solid resume on the playing surface. In 2019 was top five in the Del Rio League for discus and shot put after being ranked first overall in the district in both events. On the volleyball court, Aguilar earned the Most Improved Award in 2018 and has been successful in the classroom earning an academic letter for a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the past two years.

Williams comes to NVU-Johnson from Florence, Colorado and was a member of the Florence High School varsity volleyball team while also competing for Fremont VBC on the club circuit. When arrived at NVU-Johnson Williams plans on pursuing a degree in English with a minor in Pre-Law. Throughout Williams career, she was the leader for digs in the Tri-Peaks League and 8thin the state of Colorado in total digs. In 2019 she earned the Hardest Worker Award, in 2020 she earned the Leadership Award and academically was a five-time Honor Roll student.

Aidan Kelly has signed the necessary paperwork and has committed to the NVU-Johnson men's soccer program for this upcoming fall. Kelly comes to NVU-Johnson from Enosburg Falls, Vermont and was a product of the Enosburg Falls Middle-High School varsity boys soccer program. This past season Kelly was named Second Team All-Mountain League. On the club circuit Kelly was a member of Green Mountain FC. Off the soccer pitch, Kelly was also a member of the Enosburg varsity basketball team. When arrived at NVU-Johnson Kelly plans to pursue a degree in Business Administration.

Jette comes to NVU-Johnson from Enosburg Falls, Vermont and was a member of the boys' varsity soccer program at Enosburg Falls Middle-High School. Jette has a been a four-year starter at Enosburg and has earned numerous accolades throughout this high school career. As a freshman, Jette was named Mountain League Honorable Mention. As a sophomore, Jette was named All-Mountain League second team and throughout his junior and senior season was a First Team All-Mountain League selection. When arrived at NVU-Johnson, Logan Jette plans to pursue a degree in Business.

Ana Arbizo comes to Northern Vermont University-Johnson from Safford, Arizona. Arbizo was a member of the Florence High School varsity girls' volleyball program and earned First Team All-Region honors during the 2018-2019 season. This past season Arbizo was named Defensive Player of the Year.

Sandberg has notable accomplishments at SBHS as a Vermont state finalist in the 300m hurdles and high jump in 2019. When arrived at NVU-Johnson Sandberg will pursue a degree in Biology.

Baragona was also an impact player competing at the club level for seven years. When arrived at Northern Vermont University Baragona plans to pursue a degree in Environmental Science.

When arrived at NVU-Johnson, Molly plans to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy. In 2015 and 2017 Johnson received the coaches award for the Gould Academy ski-team. Molly Johnson is a student-athlete at Exeter High School and in 2016 received the Scholar Athlete Award for the Exeter High School ski team and received the same award for soccer in 2019.Johnson was also the recipient of the Blue Hawk Coaches Award in 2019 for her performance on the soccer field.

When arrived at NVU-Johnson, Masi will pursue a degree in psychology with a minor in biology. Throughout her high school career Isabella Masi received numerous accolades being named Second Team All-Conference in 2016 and only improving in the years ahed. In 2017, Massi was named captain of the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St.Johnsville varsity girls soccer team and received First Team All-Conference honors, Honorable Mention All-State and in 2018 was named All-State and First Team All-Conference for the second time in her career.

Aibek is a late addition to the Badgers roster and completes a two-man international recruiting effort for this years class of 2019 commitments. Aibek hails from Tashkent, Uzbekistan originally. He spent several years in Spain playing in the Spanish academies for Lavente UD (parent club in the Spanish top division of La Liga) where he was a left defender and midfielder. Aibek is the second player in the class who has played in Spain.

Outside of competing for the Milton Yellow Jackets, Holsopple is currently in her sixth season with Queen City Football Club. Holsopple was named the first QCITYZEN for the club on March 18, 2019. Brooks comes to Northern Vermont University-Johnson from the state of Connecticut where he had an impressive high school career at Ansonia High School. Kashief returns home for the summers to play with the Duhaney Park FC Academy in Jamaica. The club is a well know team as its top level senior team competes in the KSAFA Super League. He was named to the Connecticut Association of Public Schools All-Copper Division team for his performance on the field.

Throughout her high school career competing for Platteview High School, McCullough competed in the Nebraska state cross country meet in 2015, 2016, and 2018. Being named to the all-conference team in 2015. On the track, McCullough was the Class B Track State Runner up in 2019 and competed in states throughout her four-year high school career. McCullough earned top honors in the 4x1 and won the Class B State Championship. When McCullough arrives to NVU-Johnson this fall she will pursue a degree in either Sport Psychology or Outdoor Education. Throughout her high school career, she was named to Honor Roll in 2015, Merit Roll in 2016 and was a member of the Spanish Club from 2016-2018.

Irons comes to NVU-Johnson from Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont. Irons is a native of Fair Haven, Vermont and played her high school soccer at Fair Haven Union High School. When arrived at NVU-Johnson, Irons will be beginning her junior year as a student-athlete and will pursue a degree in Journalism with a minor in Philosophy. During her time at Green Mountain College, Irons was awarded the Scholar-Athlete Award in the fall of 2018 for achieving a 3.6 GPA.

 A senior this year at Sandy High School, Cruz has been a 4-sport Varsity athlete.  On the soccer pitch, Cruz had a fantastic final year with 18 goals for the Pioneers where he served as captain in the midfield.  His offensive output earned him team awards of MVP and Best Offensive Player for Sandy as the teams leading goal scorer.  In addition to playing soccer in the fall, Cruz was also a talented kicker for the football team at Sandy.  In High School, at the Varsity level, Cruz has also run track and played on the Tennis team.  On the club circuit, he plays in the prestigious Timbers organization for the West Coast.  He has competed for more than half a decade with the Eastside Timbers of the Portland area.

Moses is a speedy forward/midfielder who has a knack for scoring goals.  During his junior season, he netted 14 goals and followed that up with an 18-goal output during his senior season this past Fall. Moses was a All-Capital Division selection the past two seasons. In the summer, he competes with other players from the Upper Valley on Touchline SC based out of New Hampshire.

Kiana was a three-year selection for the Dream Dozen award that is awarded to the top twelve underclassmen in Division III and Division IV. When Kiana was a member of the Chelsea Red Devils Varsity Girls program she was a three-time selection for the Central Vermont League All-League team. In her final season at Thetford Academy Kiana as named to the Capital Division First Team All-League and was selected for the Vermont Basketball Coaches Association North/South All-Star Game. In her career, Kiana eclipsed the 1000-point plateau and finished her career with 1,119 points.

Adrian comes to Northern Vermont University with a plethora of playing experiences across the East Coast and abroad.  Adrian played for many years as a starter for his club team, Bruno United FC in Rhode Island.  Most recently in 2017, the team won the New England Premiership, and clinched a victory in the Rhode Island US Club Soccer State Cup advancing to Nationals.  In addition, Adrian has competed with the Rhode Island ODP team.  He also spent time playing abroad in England as he participated in the Chelsea FC Development Program in their EPL Youth Academy.  On the high school circuit, Adrian currently plays for Langley High School in Virginia as he recently moved to the area.

Cole Nelson joins the roster from the Amsterdam, New York hailing from Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons where he was Captain of the Varsity team. While at ND-BG he was a two time Section II All-Star amassing impressive percentage statistics as he was in the Top 10 in Section II in 2017 and 2018 for save percentage. In addition, over his three-year Varsity career as a starter he accumulated over 500 saves. On the club circuit, Nelson played most recently for Rotterdam United.

Concluding her senior season Johnson was named Best Newcomer of the Year.

Zachary Blaser currently plays for the Viginia Legacy Soccer Club. Blaser played many years overseas in Spain and Germany for various clubs, most recently FC Amberg (Germany) and SpvGG Weiden (Germany). During that time overseas, he was a league champion in Spain with C.D Rota (2015) and a runner up with FC Amberg (2017). Additionally, Zachary competed in Europe as a goalkeeper selection in the ODP system. During his time in Europe, Zachary was awarded the Golden Gloves award in 2015 with C.D. Rota and was Golden Gloves runner-up in 2017 with FC Amberg.

Over her senior year for Glenwood Springs High School Ashley hit .225 with 163 kills on 426 attempts. In 79 sets she tallied 52 blocks, 45 aces, and 87 digs. Ashley connected on 87.9% of her serves and earned an ace on 14.5% of her serves.

Transfer from Northern Virginia Community College. During her time with the Nighthawks, Havill finished sixth all-time in career kills (320), fifth in attacks (1,011) and ninth in points (354.5).  She finished her sophomore season 14th in Region, Ranked in the top 20 in kills (145), 25th in kills per set (1.58) and 20th in points (161.5).
