Northern Vermont University Johnson Badgers Athletics Department has adopted the NCAA Unity Pledge and "United As One" patch start with our Men’s Volleyball Program.

Northern Vermont University Johnson Badgers Athletics Department has adopted the NCAA Unity Pledge and "United As One" patch start with our Men's Volleyball Program.


The logo includes three different colored hands holding one another's wrists inside a circle with "United As One" at the bottom. The mark was sent to all NCAA schools in the form of a patch to consider placing on uniforms.

The Assistant Athletic Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Brian Slater stated, "Very excited to adopt this program our University. Working with our student athletes has been a tremendous experience thus far. To watch the growth our spirt of together that the entire athletic department is displaying, has allowed our athlete to continue the conversation and work to fight for social justice issues."

 

 

Men's Volleyball will be the first team to wear these patches starting with their home opening February 18, 2020.

Followed by Softball, along with additional teams in our athletic programs coming in the near future.
