Johnson Badgers Athletics finished an eventful weekend with a ton of completive play across the board form our student –athletes, our coaches and our competition.

The long weekend kicked off on Friday September 16th as our golf program traveled to Norwich for the Norwich Tony Mariano Vermont Invitational.  Our Badgers placed third with a team score of 323. The Badgers where lead by Garrett Stevens with a score of 76 placing forth individually. The golf program has vastly improved this season and continues to compete at high level.
Next tee time will take place on September 22nd at the Westfield Invitational. Along with the Castleton Invitational on September 24th.

Saturday September 17th was an action-packed for Johnson Athletics, started with Women's Volleyball hosting Salem St. and Curry College in a tri match. Where our Women's Volleyball program ended Saturday with a clean sweep by first defeating Salem St. 3-0, then later in the afternoon a competitive win against Curry College 3-1.  Before NAC Conference play the program will hit the road on Tuesday September 20th to take on SUNY POLY.

NAC Conference play did start for our Badgers Soccer program, as both men's and women's team host SUNY Delhi Saturday as well. First match started with men's soccer as they were routed 5 to 2. Badgers continued to push however the deficit was too much to overcome. Then it was the women's soccer programs turn facing SUNY Delhi which ended in a 0 - 0 tie. Defensive battle back and forth and was unable to score while defending the home goal as well.

Next up for Badgers Soccer both programs, women's soccer will host Vermont Tech on Thursday September 22nd. Then both teams will travel to face Me. - Farmington on September 24th.

During the weekend our women's triathlon was also in completion.
