Weekend Recap 4/21-422

Friday 4/21

Women's Tennis

On Friday Women's tennis traveled to Saint Micheals College for a match. In a hard-fought match at the Tarrant Recreation Center, unfortunately our Badgers fell to Saint Michael's College with a final score of 6-1. Despite their best efforts, our Badgers were unable to secure a victory in most of the doubles and singles matches. In the doubles matches, the NVJ team of Matea Smith and Maggie Egan put up a strong performance, winning their match with a score of 6-3. Moving onto the singles matches, the NVJ team was unable to turn the tide in their favor. While Grace Saunders of Saint Michael's College and Kayleigh Crowell both put up tough fights against Matea Smith and Faith Mead respectively, ultimately it was the Saint Michael's players who emerged victorious. Emma J. Tagliaferro also secured a win for Saint Michael's in a close match against Maggie Egan. Despite the loss, it's important to acknowledge the effort and hard work put in by our Badgers.
