Hornets Sting Badgers in Conference Match
The Lyndon men's basketball team topped the Johnson State College Badgers 85-69 Saturday afternoon in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest. The win sees the Hornets improve to 3-9 overall and 3-3 in the NAC while the Badgers drop to 2-8 on the season and 0-6 in NAC play.

David Johnson of Lyndon had 25 points on the day while teammate JoJo Woodruff chipped in 19 points, three rebounds, three steals and three assists off the bench in the Hornet's winning effort.

Johnson had five rebounds and two assists while teammate George Carle added 14 points, eight rebounds and two steals for Lyndon. Rob Alers had 12 points, four rebounds and three steals in the victory.

Bryan Hickey collected 17 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots for the Badgers and Asim Khan bucketed 16 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Josh Reed had 12 points and three assists off the bench.

Johnson State moves on to host Castleton this Thursday, January 16th at 7:30p.
