WATERVILLE, Maine - The North Athletic Conference (NAC) has announced its weekly honors for men's basketball and Johnson's Marqwon Wynn (Wilmington, Del.) has been named the Player of the Week.
Wynn led Johnson with 29 points, as the Badgers recorded a close 84-77 loss to No. 8 Middlebury on Tuesday. The senior also added five rebounds, one steal and one assist while shooting 68.4 percent (13-for-19) from the field. The seven-point loss is the closest score posted this year against the Panthers, while Wynn's 29 points are the most that an individual player was able to score on Middlebury this season and all of 2016-17, a year in which the Panthers made it to the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals.
Johnson will host Castleton in their NAC opener on Tuesday, November 28th at 7:30 p.m.
