JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College men's basketball team fell to Colby-Sawyer College 95-74 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game on Saturday afternoon at Carter Gym.
The Badgers finish the season with a 7-18 overall record and a 4-14 mark in conference play while the Chargers go to 16-8 (13-5 NAC).
1st HALF
The Chargers took control early, opening the game on a 20-8 run over the first seven minutes. Colby-Sawyer continued to build their lead through the remainder of the half, taking a 55-29 advantage into the intermission.
2nd HALF
The Badgers came out strong in the second half chipping away at the Chargers lead and coming within 13 with 11 minutes left in the game, with Colby-Sawyer holding a 68-55 advantage. The Chargers took back control, however, and went on to the 95-74 win.
