FINAL SCORE NVU- BADGERS 80 - UMPI 73

NVU men's basketball team welcomed the 2022 year with a hard fought 80-73 victory. The Badgers led 23-17 at halftime and opened up a lead as large as 12 points. The visitors never have in and with about 3 minutes left in the game cut the lead to 73-70. The home team was able to put the game away with some timely free throws.
Newcomers freshman guard from Louisiana, 6' Brian Lee led the victors with 17 points and 6'6 Junior forward, Yeskim Williams Walter added 12 points, including 2 big frees in the late minutes. On all the Badgers placed 5 players with 3 others, Malik Moore, 15 points and Sam Steven's 12pts and Josiah Wimberley 12 pts as well. Wimberley also finished 2/3 from the 3 point line.
