Explosive Second Half Scoring Led to Badgers Victory Over MCLA 92-75

In a tightly contested game which had our Badgers down 44-42 at halftime, the team made it a focus to turn up their man to man defensive pressure and were able to pull away. Outscoring MCLA 50-31. The Badgers were lead by Yeskin Walker Williams with an outstanding game shooting 12-13 from the field finishing with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Freshman Mohammed Semega was electrifying with 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. Raymond Baka, just off of being named the NAC Defensive Player of the Week provided a crucial inside presence with 18 points. Samuel Stephens was able to chip in an impressive 13 points coming off the bench as well as passing the ball around getting 7 assists as well. Overall the Badgers scored 62 points in the paint and shot an incredibly efficient 55.9% from the field while holding MCLA to only 35.8% from the field. As well as winning the rebound battle out rebounding MCLA 46 to their 31. As well as moving the ball around much more efficiently as our Badgers were able to double the amount of assists that MCLA had with 22 assists to MCLA's 11. An Overall dominating game coming out of the half and finishing the game.

MCLA was led by Dylan Morris-Gray with 26 points on 9-18 shooting, including 6-12 from 3. Graduate guard Noah Yearsley, was hindered by a groin injury, but was still able to add 18 points.

This dominate and well rounded game puts the Badgers at a very good 4-1 start to the season.
