The Johnson Badgers men team went on the road and won a much needed victory, 89-79 over Lesley University as they fight to move into 2nd place in the West Division.
Johnson had four men in double figures, led by junior forward, Jason Baker, who finished the game with 24 points and 5 blocks. Jason was also 3-7 from 3-point land.
Baker was followed by Matthew Carter with 21 points. Matt was an efficient 7-14 on field goals and 6-8 from the foul line. Senior and co-captain, Raymond Baka, rebounded from a foul-plagued first half and was his dominant self in the second half, finishing the day with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Lukas Sward chipped in with 11 as the Badgers had one of their best offensive showings with four in double figures.
The Badgers return on Tuesday for Senior Night against Middlebury College at 6 pm.
