Badgers Open Season with a Loss at Dr. Tim Brown Invitational

Johnson men's golf scored an 825 at the two-day Dr. Tim Brown Invitational at Airway Meadows in Gansevort, N.Y. this past weekend.  Host Skidmore College shot 299-311—610 to finish in front of Salem State (310-308—618). Farmingdale was third in the 10-team event with 321-314—635. Johnson placed 10th in the season opener.

Senior Josh Reed fired a 92 the first day and improved for a 91 on the second to lead Johnson. Senior Tom Kilbourn carded an 87 followed by a 102, Cory Chase shot a 111 and a 91, Tenzin Choezin scored a 127 and a 117 and senior Bryan Hickey recorded a 129 followed by a 118.  

The Badgers will return to action at the SUNY Cobleskill Men's Invitational next Saturday.
