Johnson State men's golf took 2nd overall at the Green Mountain College Invitational at Lake St. Catherine Country Club on Thursday afternoon. Freshman Nick Murphy took first overall, shooting an 80, finishing three strokes below the second place finisher, Clint Goodwin who posted an 83. 

For the Badgers, Murphy came in first with an 80, Kiley Moody posted a 90, Mason Phillips shot a 100 while Colin Compagna and Nick Audet rounded out the Badgers' flight with a 101 and a 104 respectively. 

Daniel Webster took first overall while Green Mountain came in 3rd. THe Badgers will return to action when they host the Lou Jarvis Memorial on the 25th.
