Badgers Take 7th in NAC Championship

Husson held a two-stroke advantage after the opening day of play and never looked back, as the Eagles claimed their 10th North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship title with a two-day total of 632 this afternoon at the Rutland Country Club in Rutland, Vt.

Despite the tough conditions, the Eagles managed to record an impressive 312 in the opening round before posting a 320 on the final day to secure an automatic berth into the NCAA Championships. Last year's winner, Salem State, ended 18 strokes behind after recording a team score of 650, while Castleton turned in the second-best team score of the day (332) to secure a top-three finish with a two-day total of 657.

Just nine strokes back, Maine Maritime captured a fourth-place finish with a score of 666, followed by UMaine-Farmington (686), MCLA (755), Johnson State (761), and Green Mountain (869).
