RUTLAND, Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's golf team shot a 348 on the final day of the Castleton Invitational to earn them a fourth-place team finish on Sunday afternoon.
NVU-Johnson's Kaden Swett finished second individually with rounds of 80-80 (160), while teammate Austin Walters and Elms' Frankie Murray finished in a tie for fourth at 163. Swett remained consistent, but the Badgers couldn't find the edge to jump ahead in the standings as a group.
It was Castleton University's Nicholas Ojala who claimed individual medalist honors after recording a final round score of 72.
Jason Klevan finished 20thoverall shooting an improved 88 on day two to give him a complete score of 183. Garrison French followed Klevan shooting 186 overall earning him a tie for 21stplace. Billy Cashin rounded out the Badgers lineup.
