Bill Boldwin enters his sixth year as the head coach for the Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's golf program. 

Boldwin coached the Badgers to three first place victories in 2018. David Albright was recognized as the North Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year, completing his season with medalist honors and first place finishes at three invitationals. 

Boldwin joined the JSC men's golf team in 2011 as the Assistant Coach to Head Coach Lou Jarvis.  Coach Jarvis, voted 2011 NAC Coach of the Year by his peers, passed away on September 30th thrusting Coach Boldwin into the interim Head Coach's role.  Boldwin not only served as the backbone for the program in a tough time but also led the team to a sixth place finish in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championships in October during the 2013-2014 season. In 2016, Boldwin led the Badgers to a sixth place finish in the NAC Championship and coached Austin Walters to the 2016 NAC Rookie of the Year award.

Prior to Johnson, Boldwin accumulated years of golf instruction experience as well as numerous seasons of coaching experiences in a variety of sports at several different levels. 

Boldwin, a retired self-employed electrical contractor, now works at Catamount Golf Club in Williston as an instructor and Pro Shop Manager as well assisting with leagues and tournaments at Essex Country Club in Essex. Coach Boldwin is also a veteran of the United States Navy.
