JOHNSON, Vt. - Sophomore long stick midfielder/defenseman Maxxwell Connolly (Rollinsford, N.H./St. Thomas Aquinas) has been voted to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) First Team in a ballot taken by the leagues coaches.
A NAC Second Team member in 2010, Connolly was the backbone of the Johnson State defense in 2011 while using his speed and versatility as the long stick midfielder position as well.
Connolly, a Outdoor Education major, led the Badgers in groundballs with 60 while assisting on a pair of goals in 2011. Connolly was a steady member of a team that struggled to a 1-10 overall record.
