Garceau Named NAC ROTW For 2nd Time

JOHNSON, Vt. - Johnson State rookie men's lacrosse midfielder Nash Garceau (North Haven, Conn./North Haven) has been tabbed North Atlantic Conference (NAC) for the second time this season.  Garceau helped lead the Badgers to a 2-1 week by scoring six goals and dealing out three assists while picking up 10 groundballs. 

Garceau, a Hotel Tourism Managament major, and the Badgers downed Lyndon on Tuesday 11-6, fell to Thomas 12-11 in overtime on Saturday, and bested the Maine-Farmington on Sunday 8-6.  Garceau had at least two points in each game and saw his week highlighted by a three-goal, one-assist effort in the win over Farmington.

Garceau has 10 goal and 10 assists on the season for 20 points ranking him second on the team in scoring and his 36 groundballs is also second on the team.

The Badgers and Garceau return to play this weekend when they host NAC foe Green Mountain College on Saturday at 1:00 pm and then wrap up their regular-season with a non-conference contest against SUNY-Canton also at 1:00 pm.
