BANGOR, MAINE – The Johnson State College men's lacrosse team fell to Husson University 20-1 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game on Sunday afternoon.
The Badgers go to 0-9 (0-6 NAC) on the season while the Eagles move to 4-7 (3-3 NAC).
1st Quarter
The Eagles took at 7-0 lead after one with three goals each from Zach Glazier and Jacob Boothby and another from Brooks Gay
2nd Quarter
Husson added three more in the second with two from Glazier and one from Gay to take a 10-0 lead into the break.
3rd Quarter
Glazier added two more to held Husson put up five more in the third and take a 15-0 advantage.
4th Quarter
The Badgers got on the board in the fourth with a goal three minutes into the quarter, but Husson tacked on five of their own to take the 20-1 victory.
Goalkeepers
Nick Zavorotny earned the win for Husson, making four saves on five shots. Travis Brown (Culpeper, Va.), made 17 saves in the loss.
Stats Breakdown
The Eagles recorded 37 shots on goal to Johnson's five and earned a 17-8 edge in face offs. The Eagles went 2-6 on the man advantage while the Badgers were 0-8.
