
HENNIKER, N.H. – The Johnson State College men's soccer team fell to New England College 9-0 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) match on Sunday afternoon.
The Badgers drop to 2-10 overall and 1-5 in the NAC. NEC jumps to 7-6 on the year and 3-2 in conference play.
SCORING
1st Half: The Pilgrims received five goals from five different scorers in the first half. Scorers for NEC were Siad Haji, Ronsard Masamba, Brian Jumpp, Rizy Misisri, and Jaylen Hill.
2nd Half: New England College put four more on the board in the second half, with Kyle Clements, Peter Allen, Ben Lovern, and Christian Villatoro netting goals.
GOALKEEPERS
Gerrit Lane (Moretown, Vt.) stopped eight of 17 shots on goal while being tagged with the loss for Johnson. Samuel Thompson stopped all seven shots in the shutout victory.
