Terriers Defeat Visiting Johnson

WATERVILLE, ME- Johnson State was defeated 9-0 by Thomas  in conference play on Sunday afternoon. Johnson dropped to 0-8 on the year and 0-5 in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) while Thomas was able to improve to 6-5 on the season, 3-2 in the NAC.

Eric Morin (Lewiston, Maine) and Tyler Small (Surry, Maine) swept number one doubles, while both winning 6-0 in both games of their singles matches. The same can be said with Caleb Mora (Surry, Maine) and Joseph Greco (Greene, Maine) in number two doubles. Gershom Renee (Hartford, Maine) also won both of his singles and doubles matches in the victory for the Terriers.

In singles, Chris Mitchell (Browington, Vt.)  was able to pick up three games and Matt Boltzer (Pompton Lakes, N.J.) two, in their efforts for the Badgers. In doubles, Greg Davis and Kemal Cross won a game. 

Johnson will host Green Mountain Tuesday at 3:30pm while Thomas finishes out the regular season on Saturday as they travel to Lyndon State at for a 1:00pm start.
