Saturday afternoon, Eli Wilson represented Johnson as a New England Regional qualifier at the championship meet, hosted by the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut. The record-setting Wilson took an individual title in the high jump, a program first for the Badgers, with a facility record of 2.06m. Outlasting his competition at 2.05m, Wilson cleared the next mark on his first attempt before opting to increase his attempts to 2.11m.

Improving his own school record from 2.05m to 2.06m, Wilson saw a rise in his individual DIII standing, breaking into the top-10 with an 8th place rank. The top 20 in each individual event are eligible to declare for the national meet held May 22nd in Geneva, Ohio.

Wilson next joins his teammates at the Ramapo College Twilight Last Chance meet held in Mahwah, NJ on May 9th.
