SUMMARY
The Johnson Badgers established a progression over the course of their home matchup against the Endicott Gulls that saw each set build from the previous, shrinking the final point deficit with each set score. While the first two set successes were offset by Endicott's quick rallies, the Badgers found a rhythem in the third that found them in contention for turning the tides. After dropping the opening two points, Johnson responded with two of their own and followed later with their first three-point rally of the afternoon, pulling ahead of Endicott 7-6. The Badgers would last hold their lead at 8-7 but remain within one point halfway through the set at 12-11. The Gulls would ultimately close the set 25-16, taking the match in straight sets.
