Keith Represents JSC at NE DIII Regionals

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Johnson's Kayden Keith (Morrisville, Vt./Peoples Academy) was the lone Johnson State male runner to participate in the 2011 New England Division III Regional Championships held at Bowdoin College on Saturday.

New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) teams took all of the top five team spots with Williams College winning the event, Middlebury College coming in second, host Bowdoin finished third, Bates College came in fourth, and Tufts University finished fifth.

Middlebury's Michael Schmidt won the event in a time of 24:39.95 while Bowdoin's Coby Horowitz came in second with a time of 24:45.05.  Third place went to Tufts' Matt Rand with a time of 24:58.19, Bridgewater State's Stephen Wahome (25:00.89) came in fourth, and North Atlantic Conference individual champion Antoine Gisore from New England College came in 5th place with a time of 25:00.93.

JSC's Keith came in 315th place in a time of 33:37.26.
