WESTFIELD, Mass. - First-year men's cross country runner Brendan Walsh (Killingworth, Conn./Killingworth) represented Johnson State College at the 2012 NCAA Division III New England Croos Country Championships on Saturday hosted by Westfield State University. Walsh came in 214th in the 351 runner field completing the 8K course in a time of 29:17.08.
Bowdoin College's Coby Horowitz won the race in a time of 24:51.36 edging teammate Samuel Seekins who finished in 24:51.45. Middlebury College's Jake Davies was third with a time of 24:51.56 coming in right with the Bowdoin duo.
Middlebury did win the team championship with a score of 91 besting Bowdoin's 101 and Bates College's 105.
