Johnson State men's cross country finished 8th out of 12 teams in the Runnin' Monks Invitational hosted by St. Joseph's (Maine). The Badgers scored 203 over all while overall winner Emmanuel earned a 67 to take first place honors.
Johnson placed two runners in the top 20, seeing Brendan Walsh finish 16th with a finish time of 29:30. Teammate Steven Lamonde placed 20th in the pack finishing in 29:46. Sean Colford of Emmanuel took first place running the 8k course in 28:05.
The Badgers will use the week to prepare for the Green Mountain Invitational on October 19th.
