Johnson State captured a 7th place finish at the 2013 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Cross Country Championship Sunday afternoon at Quarry Road Park hosted by Thomas College. Lyndon State College claimed first for the fifth time in six years.
The Hornets cruised to a first place finish scoring 27 points with three runners in the top five, including the individual winner of the race Kyle Powers, who crossed the finish line at 27:42. 101 runners total participated in the 8k race, representing 10 schools.
Johnson's Brendan Walsh finished at 14th clocking in at 30:19.68.
