In its opening race of the season on Saturday, Johnson State men's cross country put Brendan Walsh and Steven Lamonde in the top 25 to capture a 3rd place finish outpacing SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam on the campus of SUNY Canton.

Walsh placed 12th with a time of 18:15 on Canton's course followed by Lamonde, who finished in 18:57 followed by Zach Levy who clocked in at 19:17.

The Badgers will travel to Plymouth, Mass. next weekend to run in the Race to the Rock.
