LYNDONVILLE, VERMONT - The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's cross country team had eight runners participate at the NVU-Lyndon Invitational on Saturday morning. The men ran a 6k on the trails at Northern Vermont University-Lyndon's campus. The Badgers finished in 8th place overall with a team time of 2:46:19.3. Maine Maritime finished in first place with a team time of 1:59:16.3

Sophomore Lawson Ouellette (North Thetford, Vt.) was the top finisher for the Badgers coming in 23rd place overall with a time of 26:34. Sheldon Billings (Ossipee, NH) recorded a time of 30:30.1 and senior Cole Shebak (Brookline, NH) followed with a time of 33:41. Rounding out the top five finishers for the Badgers was Andrew Westphal (Madison, Conn.) and Jaynes Savage. Westphal crossed the finish line in 35:22 and Savage followed with a time of 40:11.
