Worcester, MA – The Vermont State University Johnson's softball team kicked off Saturday afternoon with a doubleheader against Anna Maria College, hosted at Assumption College in Worcester, MA. Anna Maria's Amcats posed a challenge for the Johnson Badgers, taking the two-game series in decisive fashion (18-0, 12-0).

The Badger pitchers found success on the other side if the plate, with game-one pitcher, Dallas Roark, smashing a triple to deep left and game-two pitcher, Regan Crowe, sending the ball out of the park with a ground rule double in the top of the second. Roark extended her hit streak to three games with the triple and notched her third extra base hit of the season in the process.

The Badgers return to the diamond for a doubleheader at Norwich University with opening pitch scheduled for 3:30 pm.
