The VTSU Johnson Softball team continues to grow with the addition of Emily Erdman this 2024-25 season. Hailing from Powhatan, VA, Erdman has extensive experience in high-stakes competition, securing runner-up finishes in three consecutive Virginia State All-Star Championship series. A left fielder on the diamond, Erdman has notched numerous walk-off victories behind the plate for the Dixie Softball team, the PYAA Debs, as they played their way to each championship game. Erdman plans to continue her academic career in the Holistic Health program on campus, rounding out her time as a first year at Johnson.
