Badgers Ground Eagles 78-34

Johnson State remained consistent, scoring 39 points in each half to cruise to a 78-34 victory over North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opponent, Green Mountain College. The Badgers improve on the season to 5-3 in the NAC (5-8 overall) while the Eagles slide to 0-4 in the NAC (0-12 overall).

The Badgers started out hot, going on a 13-0 run and not allowing a single point until the 12:39 mark. The Eagles struggled from the field in the first half going 4-22 from the field. By the end of the first half, Johnson was in the lead 39-11.

Coming out of the half, the Badgers continued to roll, scoring 9 points before the Eagles were able to get a basket. The Eagles were able to improve their scoring from the first half shooting 38% from the field. Johnson's biggest lead of 46 came with 2:16 left in regulation. Johnson closed out the game with a 78-34 win.

The Badgers saw four players in double figures, led by Brittany Robertson who had a game high 20 points. She was followed by three players who all had 10 points; Nicole Menard, Ladona Quinn, and Kasey DeGreenia.

Keelin Banks led the Eagles with 11 points and eight rebounds. Torie Cowell also had 10 points in the Eagles loss.

The Badgers play Husson next Friday in Bangor ME. with a tip at 5:30pm while the Eagles travel to New London NH. to play Colby-Sawyer with a tip at 7:30pm
