
JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College women's basketball team defeated Vermont Technical College 54-35 in a non-conference game on Thursday evening.
The Badgers improve to 2-10 (1-6 NAC) on the season while the Knights move to 3-13 (2-6 YSCC).
1st QUARTER
Johnson jumped out to a quick 9-4 lead but the Knights brought the lead down to 10-9 at the 3:50 mark. Johnson closed out the quarter on a 10-0 run to give them a 20-9 lead.
2nd QUARTER
The Badgers held their lead through the low scoring second quarter, taking a 29-16 lead into halftime.
3rd QUARTER
Vermont Tech kept continued to keep pace in the third, which ended with the same 13-point margin of 39-26.
4th QUARTER
Johnson pulled away in the fourth, outscoring the Knights 15-9 to take the 54-35 victory.
