
JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College women's basketball team fell to Husson University 78-47 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest on Friday night at Carter Gym.
The Badgers drop to 2-12 (1-8 NAC) on the season while the Eagles move to 8-7 (7-2 NAC).
1st QUARTER
The Badgers jumped out to an early 8-4 lead over the first five minutes. Husson bounced back and closed the half on an 18-5 run to take a 22-13 lead after one.
2nd QUARTER
The Eagles rallied off 11 straight points to lead off the second and held control to take a 46-18 advantage into the break.
3rd QUARTER
The teams traded points through the third, with Husson holding a slim 17-16 margin in the quarter to make their lead 63-34 going into the fourth.
4th QUARTER
The Badgers kept pace in the fourth but were unable to overcome the early lead and fell 78-47.
