Johnson, VT

Vermont State University Johnson Women's Basketball team start the day off with an early lead, but wasn't able to hold it.  The Badgers defense limited the Hornets to 20 points in the 1st half of play.  Unfortunately for the Badgers they were unable to take advantage of the strong defensive effort. 

Gabby Wardwell lead the Badgers with 13pts and 14rebs, followed by Matt House with 8pts and 4rebs.  Badgers front court member Alyssa Cervantes had 6 points

Wardwell was named to the VTSU Classic All-Tournament team for her efforts over the past two days.

The Badgers head to Hartford, CT on Tuesday to face off against Hartford University.
