Fortin Recognized with All-Conference and Sportsmanship Honors

Senior Riann Fortin has been honored by the North Atlantic Conference for her extraordinary play and sportsmanship on and off the court this 2024-2025 season, named to both the Third-Team All-Conference and All-Sportsmanship teams. In a season that saw Fortin surpass the 1000 career point milestone, only the 10th Badger in program history to do so, she led the Badgers in numerous statistical categories with 314 points, 167 rebounds, and nine blocks. Fortin's 14 PPG and four double-doubles on the season were part of a foundation that saw the Badgers clinch a playoff spot, where they wrapped their season in the West Division Quarterfinals.

Fortin's impact on those around her spans beyond play on the court, as made evident by her All-Sportsmanship recognition. The honor is reserved for those who exemplify integrity, fair play, and the ideals of sportsmanship on the court. Fortin's love for the game and respect for competition is apparent every time she steps on the court; whether she's scoring on the low post, securing a rebound, or high-fiving teammates, Riann represents what it means to be a Johnson Badger.
