BANGOR, MAINE – The Johnson State College women's lacrosse team fell to Husson University 18-2 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game on Sunday afternoon.
The Badgers go to 0-10 (0-8 NAC) on the season while the Eagles improve to 5-6 (4-4 NAC).
1st Half
The Eagles scored 12 unanswered to start the first, before Nichole Weeks (Barre, Vt.) scored back-to-back goals to end the half with a 12-2 score.
2nd Half
Husson added six more in the second, including two from Amanda Deshaies, to bring the final score to 18-2
Goalkeepers
Kaitlin Dolloff earned the win for the Eagles, stopping five of seven shots. Naomi Quad (Morrisville, Vt.) made 11 saves in the loss.
Stats Breakdown
Husson held a 29-7 advantage in shots on goal and a 38-26 edge in ground balls. Husson completed 11-12 clear attempts, while Johnson finished 3-8 on clears. The Badgers were one for one on free position shots.
