PAUL SMITH'S, N.Y. - Johnson State women's soccer won their fifth straight match on Sunday by beating non-conference opponent Paul Smith's College 4-0. The Badgers move to 5-1 overall, 1-0 North Atlantic Conference.
JSC received a pair of goals from sophomore Kyleigh Joseph (Hancock, N.H./ConVal) to spark the win. Chelsea Hostetter (Morrisville, Vt./Peoples) added a goal and an assist with Amanda Frawley (Westford, Vt./Essex) also recording a goal. Ally Bataille (Waterbury, Vt./Harwood), Mariah Palmer (St. Albans, Vt./BFA-St. Albans), and Bambi Patch (Johnson, Vt./Lamoille) each accounted for an assist.
Kelly Lucia (West Chazy, N.Y./Beekmantown) made the start and stopped one shot for the win with teammate Amber McCullock (Morrisville, Vt./Peoples) playing the second half and making four saves.
Johnson will return to NAC action in their next match on Saturday at 3:00 pm when they play host to the Thomas College Terriers.
