JOHNSON, Vt. – Johnson State College and Colby-Sawyer College played to a scoreless draw on Sunday in North Atlantic Conference women's soccer play at Minaert Field. The Badgers move to 8-3-2 overall and 3-2-2 NAC while the Chargers stand at 10-5-1, 6-0-1 NAC.
JSC sophomore goalkeeper Amber McCullock (Morrisville, Vt./Peoples) made 12 saves while the Chargers' Shalyn Spencer (Natick, Mass.) record four stops.
Colby-Sawyer would fire off 29 shots compared to Johnson's eight and would earn a slight edge in corner kicks on the day at 3-1.
Johnson will move on to play at Castleton State on Wednesday at 4:00 pm while Colby-Sawyer moves on to host Husson University on Saturday, October 22 at 12:30 pm.
The match marked the final regular-season home contest for senior Kathryn Johnson (Hyde Park, Vt./Lamoille) who was making the 56th start in her 56th game as a Badger.
