Johnson women's soccer rolled by host Vermont Tech on Thursday for a 4-0 win in a non-conference tilt. The game was called after 70 minutes of play due to lightening. With the win, the Badgers improve to 3-2, 0-0 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) while the Knights slide t0 0-5, 0-1 Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC).

Johnson sophomore Alexa Jakiela scored a pair of goals in the victory with Kyleigh Joseph and Briana Stadler each chipping one in as well. Caitlyn Sutherland and Maddison Prescott added one assist each.

Senior keeper Amber McCullock made two saves in the shutout win for Johnson while the Knights' goalie Laura Flint was saddled with the loss despite 17 saves.

Johnson owned a commanding 30-7 shot advantage for the match.

JSC will face Green Mountain College on Saturday, September 21st at 3:00 pm, their NAC opener, in their next outing. VTC moves on to host Lyndon State College on Saturday, September 14th.
