Badgers Roll to 6-0 Win Over Green Mountain

The Johnson State College women's soccer team ran away with a 60 victory over visiting Green Mountain College Tuesday evening in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) tilt. Green Mountain slid to 0-5 on the season and 0-1 in the NAC while Johnson State improved to 3-4 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Johnson was led offensively by sophomore Kylie Aither who tallied a hat trick for the Badgers, marking her seventh goal in two games. Briana StadlerAlexa Jakiela and Casey Hutchinson each notched goals in the hosts' winning effort. 

Johnson saw strong offensive power for the entire 90 minutes, using crisp passing and strong off-ball movement. The Badgers outshot the Eagles 28-9 and had four corner kicks to Green Mountain's one.

Johnson will travel to Castleton for a night game on Saturday, Sept. 26th at 7:00pm while Green Mountain will host conference for New England College on Saturday for a 2:30pm game.
