
HENNIKER, N.H. – The Johnson State College women's soccer team fell to New England College 8-0 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest on Sunday afternoon.
The loss brings Johnson to 1-10 on the season and 1-5 in the NAC, while the Pilgrims improve to 9-4 and 5-0 in the conference.
SCORING
1ST Half: NEC posted four goals in the opening frame, including a hat trick from Michaela Pomeroy. Emily Gubbins added the fourth Pilgrim goal.
2nd Half: The Pilgrims added another four goals in the second half. Sara Locke, Pomeroy, Sara Culhane, and Molly Bieksha were the NEC goal scorers.
GOALKEEPERS
Danielle Schreiner (St. Albans, Vt.) was given with the loss for the Badgers, making sixteen saves on 24 shots. Kayla Pugliese earned the win for NEC.
