JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College women's soccer team fell to Thomas College 3-1 in a North Atlantic Conference match on Saturday afternoon at Minaert Field.
SCORING
1st Half: Thomas (1-6, 1-2 NAC) got on the board early in the third minute with a breakaway goal by Makenzie Carlow to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead.
2nd Half: The Badgers (3-4, 0-2 NAC) tied things up in the 50th minute when Katherine Fish (Lake Elmore, Vt.) collected a deflection off the goalkeeper and buried a shot in the lower right corner to notch the game at one. The Terriers answered back ten minutes later on a goal by Taylor Peno. Thomas pushed the lead to 3-1 in the 67th minute when Julie Smith scored.
