Women's Soccer Opens Season with 2-0 Win Over Vermont Tech

Randolph, Vt – The NVU- Johnson women's soccer team outscored Vermont Tech 2-0 in their opening game of the season on Friday evening.

 

1stHalf:

The Badger's broke through in the second minute of the game. Sophomore Kelsey Cauchon (Colchester, Vt.) connected giving the Badgers an early 1-0 lead over Vermont Tech. For the majority of the first half the Badgers controlled the ball on the offensive end. In the 20thminute of the first half Cauchon the second goal of the game off an assist from Junior Andrea Mercer (Naugatuck, CT). 

 

2ndHalf:No Scoring.
