JOHNSON, Vt. – The Northern Vermont University- Johnson women's soccer team defeated Paul Smith's College 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Minaert field. They improve to 2-0 on the season.
SCORING
1st Half: Sophomore Kelsey Cauchon (Colchester, Vt) netted the first goal of the game off of a penalty kick at the 4:57 mark.
2ndHalf: Junior Andrea Mercer gave NVU-Johnson their second goal of the game 38 yards out.
The Badgers had a total of 8 shots on the game with 5 being shots on goal. Paul Smith's College had a total of 19 shots with 11 being shots on goal.
GOALKEEPERS
Senior Kaitlin Boucher (Barre, Vt) played the entire game in goal for the Badgers and accumulated 11 saves over the course of the game
