The Vermont State University Johnson Badgers Women's soccer team extended their unbeaten streak to five games today with a win over conference rival Eastern Nazarene on a beautiful day in Johnson, Vermont

The Badgers jumped out in front in the 14th minute as Brittney Love (First Year, Fair Haven, VT) netted her fifth goal of the season, knocking in a long throw-in by Matt House (Grad Student, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ).  It was the first collegiate assist for Matt.

Vermont State Johnson doubled its advantage to 2-0 in the 41st minute as Brittney Love scored her second of the game and team leading sixth of the year.  The assist came from Denyce Ruiz (Senior, Yonkers, NY), her third of the season.

The Badgers controlled possession for most of the day and dominated scoring opportunities, ending the game with a 19-1 shot advantage - 11 of those on frame.

Johnson has another home game Sunday, 9/24/23 at home against Bay Path.
