The VTSU Johnson Women's Soccer team welcomes Shelby Royea to the program next fall. The Alburgh, VT native is no stranger to leading success, as she captained both her club and high school teams, Queen City Football and Bellows Free Academy St. Albans, where she was recognized with All-Metro Team Honors.

Says Coach Norm Peterson, "We are extremely excited for Shelby to be joining us from St. Albans High and Queen City Soccer Club. Shelby is a good athlete and a fantastic teammate. She will be able to help us at a number of different positions. She is ready to embrace our summer conditioning and will be ready to compete this fall! Please join me in welcoming Shelby."
