JOHNSON, VT – The Vermont State University Johnson women's soccer team will compete in 17 matchups during the 2025 regular season, culminating with the North Atlantic Playoffs set to begin October 29th.
The Badgers come back from a successful 2024 campaign, which saw the team end its playoff run as runner-up in the NAC West Division Championship match, marking one of the most promising seasons in program history. Johnson is due to open its season Friday, August 29, traveling to Northfield, Vermont against host, Norwich University.
Coach Norm and the team at Johnson are very excited about the schedule and the season ahead. Says Coach Norm, "This will be a challenging schedule for us. A busy August/September is highlighted by an opening weekend fixture against local rivals, Norwich University and Paul Smiths, and is filled with SUNY schools and a homecoming game against Mass College of Liberal Arts. We believe a harder non-conference schedule this year will help get us ready for our Conference schedule. Our increased depth, led by seven first-year position players and a ramped-up conditioning regiment will allow us to be our best for the back-to-back conference weekends ahead. Excited to compete for a conference title this year."
