Title: Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Amy Sparks enters her second season as an Assistant Coach for the Vermont State University Johnson Women’s Soccer program, bringing extensive experience coaching players of all ages and a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field.

Prior to joining the Badgers, Sparks served as Head Girls’ Varsity Coach at Lamoille High School and spent eight years coaching JV and Assistant Varsity teams at Souhegan High School in New Hampshire. She also served as Director of Coaching for the Souhegan Soccer Club/Center of Excellence, leading U9–U14 teams for seven years and guiding both club and high school programs to state-level success. Sparks emphasizes the holistic development of student-athletes, focusing on the process of growth, improvement, and building well-rounded players.

Sparks holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the University of Vermont, graduating cum laude, where she also played one year of JV soccer. She is certified with several soccer coaching licenses and is a USA Triathlon Level 1 certified coach, running her own triathlon training company. In addition to her coaching career, Sparks spent 19 years working at Fidelity Investments, bringing a unique blend of professional and athletic expertise to her coaching approach.
