Thomas (1-2, 1-0 NAC) was able to capture their first win of the season, defeating Johnson State (1-2), 0-1 (NAC), 7-2 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) women's tennis match on Saturday afternoon.
Jessica Bowen defeated Deanna Brandstetter at number one singles, 6-2, 6-1, while Bowen alongside Lindesey Allen was able to take down Brandtetter and Annette Kaminski 8-6 in number one doubles.
Allen, playing at four singles swept her opponent Michelle Mainus 6-0, 6-0.
The Badgers were able to avoid the clean sweep with two wins in singles by Meagan Ploof and Michelle Mainus.
Both teams will have a quick turnaround with Thomas hosting Lyndon State tomorrow at 1:00pm and Johson visiting The University of Southern Maine for a 1:00p match.
